Privacy policy
Sector Watch has no accounts, forms or newsletter sign-up. The only data collected is anonymous usage statistics from Google Analytics.
Effective October 29, 2026. This policy covers economyxai.us (“the site”), run by EconomyxAI.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. When you load a page, Google Analytics receives the page address, the referring page, your browser, device type, screen size, language, and an approximate location (city or region) derived from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store or log full IP addresses. In most regions it sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell new visits from returning ones.
Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. We do not collect names, email addresses or any other information that identifies you, and we do not combine analytics data with other data.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are not set. Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregate signals (Consent Mode) that are not tied to you or your device.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the service. Google acts as our service provider for hosting and analytics; see Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
How we use it, and who we share it with
We use analytics only to understand which editions and pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell or rent data, and we do not share it with anyone other than Google in its role as our service provider. Google Analytics keeps this data for no longer than 14 months.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without analytics.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Links to other sites
Edition pages link to the Federal Reserve and other sites, whose privacy practices are their own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
